Santa with a big bang

Kicking-off Santa's season with a big bang at the biggest outlet center of McArthurGlen's and winning the hearts of the citizens of Roermond WINK created a storyline that started with a light parade throughout the city. That set the Ferris wheel in motion and lit up the Christmas tree to ignite the spirit of Santa Claus across the designer outlet. A very merry Christmas.

Brief

Kickstart the Christmas season of designer outlet Roermond and jet-fuel last year's event (not by us). Focus on both the event and content for maximum reach.

Concept

Created an inclusive experiential fairy-tale that started with a light parade throughout the city, inviting everyone to join and set the Ferris wheel in motion, which, in turn, lit up the giant X mas tree and ignited the spirit of Santa Claus in all 7000 hearts of the gathered crowd. For good!

Result

Three times more visitors and participating Roermond citizens as expected. Quality content for an even bigger reach. We clearly shook the tree because there are talks to even go BIGGER next year.
